Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland – Thursday, August 9

When I woke up this morning I was very happy to be out of the open sea because I knew that I was not going to feel sick from the waves anymore.

When I went outside I was happy to see the village of Qeqertarsuaq, which, I was told, means “big island”. When we went in to the town we stopped at a store that sells fresh meats such as whale meat.

Later in the day we went for a hike to some big waterfalls. When we were walking back to town, I was talking to the other students on the trip about the type of meat I eat such as caribou meat.
